Studying Referentiality in Frank O'Hara's Poetry

My Results

The first graph investigates how often O'Hara references New York, both state and city, and Manhattan in relation to all his references. So, nine times out of twelve, when O'Hara references Manhattan, he references New York City and State. And every time he references New York State, he is necessarily referencing New York City.

The second graph starts to dig into the number of people O'Hara references with respect to all his references. To go a step further, the graph displays the total number of people referenced and subdivisions of people referenced.

The third graph shows how many of O'Hara's poems use any sort of foreign language.
